DFL on Special Election SD 26, MN Governor’s Race, Caucus

Earlier this morning, Brain Melendez issued this DFL statement on Special Election Minnesota Senate District 26:
“In a district with so many Republican voters, Jason Engbrecht certainly had the deck stacked against him. Steele County hasn’t elected a Democratic representative practically in the history of partisan elections, so it was an uphill climb from the start. [...]

Minnesota Senate District 26: Special Election 2010

The DFL lost a tough one last night. Mike Parry will slide into Day’s (still warm) seat at the Capitol, bringing a hotheaded and unpredictable personality to the room.  People in Owatonna apparently love that type of personality.  Waseca isn’t so sure, and perhaps sick of party bickering.
